To leverage this feature successfully, you need:
User Eligibility: A Tencent Cloud account with either Free or Enterprise Edition access.
Device Compatibility: Use Windows or macOS operating systems.
Software Version: Ensure the VooV Meeting application is updated to version v2.3.0 or later.
During recording sessions, the option to change file storage locations is disabled for user convenience and security reasons. If you wish to remove a recorded meeting from your Past Meetings section, be aware that this action will also result in deletion of the original local recording file.
Upon of your VooV Meeting, recording files are automatically converted into MP4 format - the standard for video content compatibility and quality preservation. These recordings can be saved to a designated folder on your device, which can subsequently be opened or deleted as desired.
For meetings where recording was attempted but fled due to unforeseen issues like technical interruptions, VooV Meeting provides an option to manually convert temporary files .wemta, .wemta.idx, .wemtv, and .wemtv.idx into the more user-frily MP4 format.
Navigate to Past Meetings to access your recorded sessions. From this section, you can play back recordings, open their respective folders for further inspection or management, or choose to delete them as needed.
For personalized control over recording processes:
Save Location: Designate the folder where all your recorded meetings will be stored.
Speaker Thumbprint Integration: Enable this feature to record both shared screens and speaker thumbnls simultaneously in higher resolution videos.
Audio Recording: Opt-in for recording audio content separately, allowing for easy access to audio-only recordings or additional context within multi-track media files.
Temporary File Retention: Choose to keep temporary files that precede conversion into final MP4 format, offering a backup option or alternative means of viewing the recording process.
